Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about AC maintenance and tune-ups in South Florida.

How often should I service my AC in South Florida?

We recommend twice a year, in spring and fall. Here your AC runs almost all year, so dust, humidity and algae build up fast. Homes with heavy use and vacation rentals do best with service every three months.

What is the difference between maintenance and a tune-up?

They are the same type of visit. A tune-up is one maintenance visit you book when you need it. A maintenance plan schedules those visits for you through the year and adds member benefits like a repair discount and priority scheduling.

Do you offer a maintenance plan?

Yes. Our maintenance plans include scheduled visits, priority scheduling and a member discount on repairs. You can pay monthly or once a year. See our maintenance plans.

What is included in an AC tune-up?

A 27-point electrical and mechanical inspection, a drain line flush and pressure cleanout with anti-algae treatment, a visual coil inspection with an exterior surface rinse, and a digital report with photos and readings.

How much does AC maintenance cost?

Pricing is per A/C unit. Each additional unit in the same home is an extra cost at a special reduced rate. Call (954) 513-7948 and we will give you the price for your home.

Can AC maintenance help prevent breakdowns?

Yes. Most summer breakdowns start as small problems: a clogged drain, a weak capacitor, a loose connection. A tune-up finds and fixes those early, before your AC stops on the hottest day of the year.

Can maintenance lower my power bill?

Yes. Clean coils, a clear drain line and healthy electrical parts let your system cool with less effort, so it uses less electricity.

Do new AC systems still need maintenance?

Yes. A new system still collects dust and algae in South Florida, and many manufacturer warranties require proof of regular maintenance. Keeping up with tune-ups protects both your system and your warranty.

Does a tune-up include deep coil cleaning?

No. A tune-up includes a visual coil inspection and exterior rinse. A deep chemical coil wash or an evaporator pull-and-clean is a specialized service we quote separately after we inspect your system.

What happens if the technician finds a problem?

We show you what we found with photos and readings and give you the price before any repair. Nothing is done without your approval.

Do I need to be home during the visit?

Yes, someone needs to be there to give our technician access to the indoor unit and the thermostat.

Do you offer service in Spanish?

Yes. We are a bilingual team, English and Spanish. Sí, atendemos en español.
